Richard Baird called the meeting to order at 7 pm followed by the Pledge of Allegiance,

Motion to approve minutes of Regular Monthly Meeting held February 13, 2018 by Linda Barsness, Richard Baird second, carried.
No one will be available to attend the Town Law Review Training April 19th, 2018 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in Burnsville, MN.
Motion to approve attendance to Spring Short Courses April 4th, 2018 in Bemidji at Sanford Center with registration starting at 8:00 am at the cost of $50.00 person by Richard Baird, Jason Ball second, carried.

Letters regarding our policy of not offering donations will be sent to agencies requesting donations.
Nancy Salminen of Cass Lake re-elected to represent the Lake Itasca to Grand Rapids Region for a two year term on the Minnesota Mississippi River Parkway Commission.
Anderson Brothers presenting a forum to discuss road construction issues in Minnesota on April 17, 2018. Motion to approve Richard Baird to attend forum and pay mileage plus hourly wage by Jason Ball, Linda Barsness second, carried.
February disbursements for Checks #14020 thru #14055 and 3 electronic transfers totaling $38,429.98. These figures include the end of month Payroll for February, and mid February for the Police officers, and the bills that were received through 3/15/2018.

Richard Baird presented report. There were several snow events in the last month. He had many contacts with Storlie Construction. PBF Specialties filled some pot holes on roads in very poor condition. We discussed having PBF Specialties do sweeping, crack sealing, and pulling some signs.
Fire Department Meeting Report:
No report this month. Tony will present report for February Fire Meeting next month.
EMT Meeting Report:
Zeb Hemsworth attended March 2nd training. He received a copy of MAT Clean Water Policy for 2017 and Leech Lake River Watershed One Plan, Emergency Management Handbook and Disaster Assistance Guide.
Public Safety Committee Meeting Report:
The Public Safety Committee met on February 21, 2018 and March 15, 2018 to review the facts regarding the complaint from Amos LaDuke. Jason Ball reported that the Public Safety Committee interviewed Zeb Hemsworth concerning the complaint from Amos LaDuke and found no wrong doing on his part at this time. An attorney was contacted regarding the complaint and found no basis for disciplinary action. The Town Board will respond to the complaint with a follow up letter.
