Richard Baird called the meeting to order at 7 pm followed by the Pledge of Allegiance,

Motion to approve minutes of Regular Monthly Meeting held February 12th, 2019 by Reuben St. Cyr, Michael Reyes second, carried.
No update regarding unpaid withholding taxes and failure to submit reports.
Joseph Fowler delivered check for Road Vacation.
Spring Short Courses will be held Wednesday, April 3rd, 2019 at Bemidji Sanford Center. A must-have class for ALL officers that have not attended previously. All officers plan to attend.
Motion to approve Revised Minutes of Board of Audit held February 5th, 2019 by Michael Reyes, Linda Barsness second, carried.
Renewed two Certificates of Deposit that had matured at Western Bank.
Town Law Review training event with information regarding Minnesota Municipal Money Market (4M) Fund Program. Training is April 18th , 2019 8 am to 3:30 pm in Otsego, MN. Cost is $50 per person. Motion to send Michael Reyes to the training and cover expenses by Ryan Erickson, Linda Barsness second, carried.
Lakes Area Dive Team requesting donation. Letter sent.
Skywarn Storm Spotter Training announcement.
Cass County Sheriff’s reports for 2018.
Cass County Highway Department letter regarding 2019 Chloride Program and Maintenance Materials.
Central Applicators, Inc. correspondence regarding Rights-of-Way Vegetation Management.
MN Department of Transportation informing of a detour on Highway 371 this summer.
Cass County Historical Society requesting donation. Letter sent.
February disbursements for Checks #14961 thru #14993 and 4 electronic transfers totaling $26,106.06. These figures include the end of month payroll for February, and mid-February for the Police officers, and the bills that were received through 3/14/2019.

Several brutal snow events caused many plow trips and front end loaders to move snow from intersections.
Fire Department Meeting Report:
No report to present.
No updates with tax attorney.
Updated new tax tables effective February 21, 2019.
Working on getting signatories for all bank accounts and CD’s.
Steve Fenske, General Counsel for MN Association of Townships responded to questions regarding insurance claims for fire calls. He stated that the property owner would need to submit the claim to his or her insurance.
Michael Reyes suggested Clerk take over to update website.
Michael Reyes suggested changing cell service to AT & T. Speaker will attend April meeting to present info.
